Wisin & Yandel and Rosalía reach a new career milestone by each earning their highest debut on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart. “Besos Moja2,” their first collaboration, reaches No. 2 on the chart on March 11. It is the highest takeoff for the Puerto Rican duo, after 46 entries, and for Rosalia, who has racked up nine since their first chart appearance in 2019.

“Besos Moja2” kicks off with 10.2 million audience impressions garnered in the U.S. during the tracking week of Feb. 24-March 2, according to Luminate.

The new entry on the all-genre chart gives Wisin & Yandel their 28th Top 10, tying them with Ricky Martin for seventh place overall; between them, the duo has earned 15 top spots. Rosalia, meanwhile, earns her seventh Top 10, six of which reached No. 1 on the chart. Check out the Top 10 scorecard since the list’s inception in 1994:

46, Daddy Yankee

41, Enrique Iglesias

40, J Balvin

37, Ozuna

35, Shakira

30, Marco Antonio

28, Ricky Martin

28, Wisin & Yandel

It took nearly a decade and a half for Wisin & Yandel to come back full steam ahead with a chart-topping debut. In November 2007, the duo took off at No. 3 with “Sexy movimiento”, which then dominated for a week (January 2008). Previously, they achieved their first Top 10 entry, at No. 8, with their participation in Los Benjamin’s “Noche de entierro (nuestro amor)”, which also included Daddy Yankee, Héctor “El Father” and Zion, in September 2006. (The song peaked at No. 6 a week later, remaining three weeks in the position).

As mentioned, Wisin & Yandel have racked up 15 No. 1s, including with “Mayor Que Usted” featuring Natti Natasha and Daddy Yankee, which spent a week at the top last September.

For Rosalia, the takeoff of “Besos Moja2” at No. 2 is her only Top 10 debut out of a collection of nine Latin Airplay entries during her career. Between them, however, she has scored six No. 1s, most recently with “El pañuelo” featuring Romeo Santos (chart dated Feb. 25).

“Besos” simultaneously debuts at No. 1 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. It is the 21st place for Wisin & Yandel on that chart, and they tie with Ricky Martin for fourth place behind Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny, both with 34 No. 1s, and Ozuna, with 29. Rosalia also achieves her fourth No. 1 on the chart.
